What Is Beeswax Protective Sealer?

Earthaus Beeswax Protective Sealer is a water-based beeswax emulsion designed for use over Olive Oil Soap-sealed plaster finishes. It enhances finishes with a silky, glossy look and feel while increasing stain resistance and wipeability.

Properties

  • Dries clear — will not alter plaster color.

Packaging & Coverage

  • Packaged in 1-quart bottles.

  • Shower-use Tadelakt: 1 quart covers ~75 ft² (3 coats).

  • Non-shower use: 1 quart covers ~200 ft².

Which Finishes Use Beeswax Sealer?

  • Required: Tadelakt Finish (Shower Use)

  • Optional: Tadelakt Finish (Non-shower), Marble Finish, Stone Finish

How to Apply Beeswax Protective Sealer

  1. Mask off all adjacent surfaces.

  2. Ensure plaster surface is fully dry before application.

  3. Apply Beeswax from bottom up with a high-density foam roller.

  4. While wax is still workable, rub into surface with a clean lint-free cloth to remove roller streaks.

  5. As Beeswax becomes tacky, buff to desired sheen with lint-free cloth or mechanical buffer.

Storage

  • Stores for 1 year if tightly sealed in original packaging.

  • Protect from freezing.
