Do I Need a Freight Shipping Quote?
Most orders don't need one. Artisan products — Tadelakt, Marble, Stone, Sand, and Base plasters, Lime Slurry, Limewash, and accessories — qualify for free shipping on orders over $300, with no quote required. A large order of 15 or more bags ships LTL on a pallet, but because that always exceeds the $300 threshold, artisan freight always ships free — no quote, ever.
BUILD products do need a quote. PHL Binder, Lime Stucco Fine, and Lime Stucco Coarse never qualify for free shipping and always require a custom freight quote based on your delivery address, for any quantity (even a single bag).
How BUILD products ship depends on the bag count:
Lime Stucco (Fine or Coarse): under 15 bags ship UPS Ground in boxes; 15 or more ship LTL on a pallet.
PHL Binder: under 9 bags ship UPS Ground in boxes; 9 or more ship LTL on a pallet.
Either way, the shipping cost is quoted — it is never free.
How to get a BUILD freight quote: there is no need to email or text us — BUILD products work just like everything else right up to checkout.
Use the calculator for your finish and add the products to your cart, the same as any other product.
In your cart, where the checkout button normally appears, you'll see a "Get Quote" button. Click it.
Fill out the short freight form: your shipping address, whether the location is residential or commercial, and whether you have a forklift or loading dock on site (for pallet/LTL orders, this tells us whether your delivery needs a lift gate).
Submit. Your request goes straight to the Earthaus shipping department, and we pull an accurate freight quote for your order.
Once we have your quote, we add the shipping to a draft order for your approval. The draft includes a checkout link so you can place the order whenever you're ready.
Mixed orders (artisan + BUILD). If your order contains both, everything ships together on the same pallet, but the freight quote covers only the BUILD products. The artisan portion still ships free.
Note on logistics: pallet/LTL shipments are processed within 2–4 business days, transit takes 3–10 business days depending on location, and our shipping logistics team selects the LTL carrier. Pallet/LTL delivery is curbside (someone must be present to sign), with a lift gate provided if you don't have a forklift or loading dock. Smaller BUILD orders ship UPS Ground in boxes. Expedited shipping is not available for freight.

Why We Don't Do Traditional Quotes
Earthaus finishes are systems, not single products. A quote for "Tadelakt" without knowing your square footage, color, and substrate would be incomplete and misleading. The calculator ensures you get an accurate, complete price for everything you actually need.
