Description
Earthaus PHL Binder is a concentrated, lightweight base coat plaster formulated with hydrated lime and pumice pozzolan to deliver a breathable, durable, and flexible foundation for compatible wall systems. Designed for both interior and exterior applications, it offers superior adhesion, moisture management, and crack resistance. Unlike pre-mixed options, it requires the addition of locally sourced sand aggregate, which reduces shipping costs and allows for material flexibility on-site.

Limitations
In exterior applications, lime plaster systems can be susceptible to damage if not properly detailed. Refer to Design Considerations in the PHL Binder Installation Guide.
Storage
Mixed binder: store covered at room temperature up to 5 days; remix before use.
Unmixed bags: store dry, in low humidity, up to 1 year.
Disposal
Allow excess PHL Binder to dry completely, then dispose of the dried plaster in the trash.
Safety Information
Hydrated lime is strongly alkaline.
Required PPE: gloves, eye protection, long sleeves, dust mask or respirator.
Eyes: flush with water; seek immediate medical attention.
Skin: wash with water and mild soap.
Ingestion: do not ingest; seek medical attention immediately.
