Routine Care
Cleaning:
Use a gentle, plant-based diluted soap for routine cleaning of sealed Marble Finish.
Avoid chemical or acidic cleaners, which can damage the finish.
Recommended: Earthaus Olive Oil Soap Sealer.
Dilute 5 parts warm water : 1 part Olive Oil Soap Sealer.
Wipe surface gently with a non-abrasive cloth.
Rinsing not required.
Perform routine cleaning at least annually.
Maintenance: Routine cleaning is the primary maintenance required. No additional sealing or waxing is specified.
Damage Types: Risks & Repair
Staining:
Risk: Substances containing acids, tannins, or chemicals can stain.
Prevention: Wipe immediately with a dry cloth. Avoid acidic cleaners.
Repair: Apply additional coats of Marble Plaster over affected area after light sanding. Re-burnish and reseal.
Chipping or gouging:
Risk: Hard impacts can chip the surface.
Repair: Fill with fresh Marble Plaster, sand smooth, and burnish to match surrounding area.
